Bridging Innovation and Academia: Insights from New Mansoura University’s Industry-Academia Event
At Dipdux, we believe that the key to sustainable innovation lies in collaboration—between industry leaders, academic institutions, and the brilliant minds shaping the future of technology. On May 19, 2025, we had the privilege of participating in the fifth industry-academia event organized by New Mansoura University, an inspiring gathering that showcased the ingenuity and ambition of Egypt’s next generation of tech professionals.
A Platform for Innovation
The event was a testament to how education and industry can work hand-in-hand to drive technological progress. With the leadership of Prof. Dr. Khaled Mohamed Fouad, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, and the dedication of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Fathy El-Rahmawy and Dr. Ibrahim Atiya, the exhibition featured over 30 groundbreaking student projects across fields such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, and the Internet of Things. The quality of work presented was outstanding, with many projects demonstrating potential for commercial viability.
One of the event’s highlights was the thought-provoking panel discussion, "Artificial Intelligence… From Idea to Product," which explored critical topics including the role of AI in software development, challenges faced by tech startups, and strategies for bridging academic research with market needs. These discussions reflect the growing importance of preparing young innovators not only with technical skills but also with the business acumen needed to bring ideas to life.
Empowering Future Entrepreneurs
At Dipdux Analytica, we see immense value in engaging with talented students and fostering their journey beyond academia. Throughout the event, we had the pleasure of exchanging ideas with students, learning about their creative approaches, and discussing the next steps to transform their projects into viable startup businesses.
We strongly believe that innovation shouldn’t stop at the classroom—it should evolve into something tangible that drives economic growth and technological advancement. That’s why we’re committed to working with students, helping them navigate the path from concept to commercialization, and ensuring their ideas reach the market where they can make a real impact.
A Special Thanks to New Mansoura University
We want to extend our deepest gratitude to Prof. Dr. Ma'wad Mohamed Al-Khooli, President of New Mansoura University, for his leadership and vision in fostering a dynamic and innovation-driven academic environment. Special thanks also go to Dr. Omar El-Zaky, whose efforts in student activity coordination added an invaluable dimension to this event.
Events like this reinforce the importance of building strong partnerships between academia and industry. At Dipdux, we fully support initiatives that empower young talent and look forward to deepening our collaboration with the university and its students in the future.
Looking Ahead
As we reflect on this day, we remain optimistic about the future of tech innovation in Egypt. New Mansoura University continues to play a pivotal role in equipping students with the skills and opportunities they need to succeed, and we are excited to see how these young innovators shape the next wave of digital transformation.
To the students, faculty, and industry leaders—thank you for an inspiring day! Here’s to a future driven by collaboration, creativity, and groundbreaking ideas.
