EduLoom Overview:
EduLoom, a pioneering educational initiative, aims to unite parents, students, instructors, and institutions, fostering a community of knowledge sharing and enrichment. Initially, it focused on enhancing educational institute evaluation using global standards and offering tailored products and services to optimize educational processes.
Connecting Milestones:
In our initial milestone, EduLoom laid the groundwork by prioritising parents, students, and teachers and implementing a 'form submission' feature. This approach attracted 2000 participants, which jumped to 12,000 in just one month.
As we progress, our strategy centres on empowering users and broadening our platform's reach. To achieve this, we're introducing two pivotal features: the Events Section and Account Creation. Notably, account creation serves as the bridge between the previous milestone and the upcoming one. This strategic alignment will facilitate the expansion of our community on the platform.
Upcoming feature details:
The Events feature offers a vibrant hub for users to explore educational activities, fostering community engagement and lifelong learning. Structured with blogs for easy navigation in our MVP, it strengthens Eduloom's role as an educational platform.
Event features include:
- Calendar Integration: Add upcoming events to your calendar.
- Event Details: Get detailed information about each event.
- Registration: Register for events directly on the platform.
- Notifications: Receive reminders for upcoming events.
- Filter and Search: Find events by location, date, or topic.
User Access: Creating an account is crucial for joining Eduloom's community, providing access to personalized features like recommendations and notifications. With your account, you can sign up easily, log in securely, manage your profile, and enjoy Single Sign-On (SSO) integration with Google for seamless access.
UX Practices Applied:
EduLoom prioritizes user-centric design and seamless user experiences, employing various UX practices:
